My Thoughts on Jalin Hyatt

The New York Giants selected steal of Jalin Hyatt in the third round of the NFL Draft. The Former Vol had 108 receptions, 1769 yards and 19 Touchdowns.

I think he will be the WR1 for the Giants this year. He has been showing solid numbers in the preseason. He has 5 receptions 31 yds and a touchdown. He has a lot of competition with decent receivers as the giants have Sterling shepard, isaiah Hodgins, and darius slayton

With his speed he can be one of the fastest in the league and he's also a great long threat route runner. With an above average QB ike Daniel Jones he will be in talks for the offensive rookie of the year.

The game last night against the Jets, Hyatt found he was lined up one on one against cornerback Sauce Gardner, a second year player that's already regarded as one of the best corners in the NFL. He ran right past him and would've had himself a great catch but the ball was overthrown.

The growing anticipation is that Hyatt will repeat that kind of long range assault on opposing defenses often enough this season with Jones making the throws to ensure the rookie goes down as an NFL draft steal.
