Scottie Scheffler Claims Fourth Win In Five Starts

Image
By Cooper Roth     Just a week after his dominant performance at the Masters, Scottie Scheffler picked up his 10th PGA Tour victory and secured his 4th win in the last 5 starts this past weekend at the RBC Heritage.  Additionally, he clinched victories at the Players Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational back-to-back, just two weeks before the Masters, using that momentum to continue his run.  Scheffler has joined the ranks of only 8 players to win their second Masters within 3 years. He also became the first PGA Tour player since Tiger Woods in 2006 to win one week after securing the Green Jacket at Augusta National.      Earlier this year, Scheffler got off to a frustrating start on the greens, ranking No. 144 in Strokes Gained putting. Viktor Hovland: PGA Tour Breakout solidified by Fedex Cup win

Image
Written By: Ben Kasoff, of Swish Tribune      Viktor Hovland's 2022-23 PGA Tour season has been nothing short of impressive. With three tour victories and never missing a cut, his astonishing $33 million check at the season was well deserved.        While this is all impressive, his recent Fedex Cup win solidified his name among the best while simultaneously racking in $18 million from that single tournament purse. Before the season Hovlands chipping was objectively far below the tour pro level. This season made it clear that the chipping was the only thing holding him back though. He worked with his coach, Joe Mayo, to bring his chipping to elite level expected of him, and he never looked back. This t...

Written By: Jack Nevins of Swish Tribune                    This past weekend brought great publicity to Arizona, as the Super Bowl and the Waste Management Phoenix Open were both played. While many were tailgating and partying for the big game, golf fans enjoyed their partying somewhere else one may consider far better, the 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale.                    The 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale is like no  other. It's a 163-yard par three, where players need to clear 100 yards of desert and debris. The hole is surrounded by a grandstand, seating 20,000 fans. The course gets its nickname "The Stadium Course", because of this grandstand. This is not your typical country club par three. Fans make the hole so special, as they are by far the rowdiest crowd in all of golf, with fans colle...
