Preseason Preview: Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are one of the strongest teams in the NFL WHEN HEALTHY. The issue is, they seem to constantly be dilapidated. They were lacking defensive weapons last year, including cornerback Byron Jones (out for the season), safety Brandon Jones (out seven games), and Nik Needham (out six games). In addition to all of these injuries on the defensive end of the ball, the Dolphins were also constantly without a quarterback, as Tua was dealing with concussions all season long.
Over the offseason, the Dolphins defense became even stronger after acquiring Jalen Ramsey, Bradley Chubb, and Eli Apple in addition to drafting two valuable young players in Jaelan Philips and Jevon Holland. Although Ramsey is injured and is out for the beginning of the season, the Dolphins defense is STACKED.
Let's move over to the offense.
Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
That's it. All you need to know is those two names in order to find out that this is one of the most deadly offenses in the league when their quarterback is healthy. With the addition of Jonathon Taylor on the market, and the Dolphins seemingly trying to make a push, this offense can be one of the best, if not the best in the game.
Overall, the Dolphins easily have one of the best teams on paper, but the most important thing is if this team can stay healthy. If they can, the Dolphins will definitely be competing for the AFC Championship.
