By Lucas Grodner  The top 10 HEALTHY players in the NBA postseason (Top 5 players get short explanations) ( Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo won't be on the list due to injury) Honorable mentions (in no particularly order): Paul George, James harden, Kyrie Irving, KAT, Devin booker, Anthony Davis, Jaylen brown, Paola banchero, tyreese haliburtan, Tyree Maxey  10. Donavan Mitchell 9. Kevin Durant  8. Anthony Edwards  7. Jayson Tatum 6. Lebron James  5. Jalen Brunson - Jalen Brunson has led the injury cursed Knicks to the two seed in the eastern conference. He has been nothing short of phenomenal throughout the regular season and should be considered to be a top 3 point guard in this league. He has been dominant against the 76ers, averaging over 30 points per game. The first two games, he was off to a rocky start, but bounced back these last two games. He capped off game 4 against the 76ers with a Knicks franchise playoff record , 47 p...

Scottie Scheffler Claims Fourth Win In Five Starts

Image
By Cooper Roth     Just a week after his dominant performance at the Masters, Scottie Scheffler picked up his 10th PGA Tour victory and secured his 4th win in the last 5 starts this past weekend at the RBC Heritage.  Additionally, he clinched victories at the Players Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational back-to-back, just two weeks before the Masters, using that momentum to continue his run.  Scheffler has joined the ranks of only 8 players to win their second Masters within 3 years. He also became the first PGA Tour player since Tiger Woods in 2006 to win one week after securing the Green Jacket at Augusta National.      Earlier this year, Scheffler got off to a frustrating start on the greens, ranking No. 144 in Strokes Gained putting. However, after making the necessary switch to a Taylormade Tour X mallet putter, his game improved significantly, evident in his recent successes.  As a result of  this integral change in putter,...

The First Look at the Michigan Wolverines 2024-2025 Basketball Recruiting Class

Image
This week marks one month  since Juwan Howard's departure, and Dusty May and the Wolverines have had their names around ten guys going into the next dead period (May 16-24). While the Wolverines' top five scorers depart, seven players have officially committed to Ann Arbor for the 2024-2025 season. This article will highlight the seven athletes that May's staff has signed this offseason.    On Friday, April 13, Justin Pippen, son of former NBA legend Scottie Pippen, went on an official visit to Ann Arbor. 6 days later, he announced his commitment to the Wolverines via 247 Sports. The four-star 6'3, 180lbs combo guard from Sierra Canyon High School was ranked 101 in the 247 Composite. Pippen has a solid foundation to work with, and we will only see him improve while enrolled at Michigan.     Six days later, Rubin Jones committed to Ann Arbor. This 6'5, 190-lb graduate transfer is a stat sheet stuffer, having averag...

What is Next for the Golden State Warriors? Is This the End of a Dynasty?

Image
By Lucas Grodner What is Next for the Golden State Warriors? Is This the End of a Dynasty?     A demoralizing 118 - 94 loss in the play-in game to the Sacramento Kings has left basketball fans around the world questioning, what will come next for the Golden State Warriors? Throughout the entire regular season, the Warriors have been at best, mediocre. They finished the regular season at 46-36. Even though the win to loss ratio doesn't look that bad, they only finished as the 10 seed, considering that the western conference is stacked this year. Then, to top off the disappointing season, they were crushed in the play in game. The so-called "big three" were one of the main reasons for the Warriors struggles. Draymond Green was in and out of trouble throughout the season as he kept getting suspended. These suspensions not only affected Draymond, but clearly brought down the team chemistry. Klay Thompson showed a lot of regression too, as he inconsistently averaged 17.9 ppg, ...

The 50-Win Knicks!

Image
Written By: Spencer Teman, of Swish Tribune For the first time since the 2012-2013 season, the Knicks have achieved the 50 win total and lock up the number 2 seed in the Eastern Conference! A total rollercoaster ride of a season for New York with tons of devastating injuries and obstacles overcame each and every game day.  The Knicks came into the season with a very similar team from their 2nd round exit team just a season ago with a couple of minor additions. Then about 30 games into the season the Knicks totally changed the dynamic of their season by trading away two cornerstone pieces, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley. OG Anunoby and Precious Achiwua was the return and they have made their impact well known.  Anunoby has not been as healthy as the Knicks imagined he would be, but in the 23 games he played the Knicks won 20 of them. Having him healthy in the playoffs as the defensive catalyst and the dominant offensive player he is, is vital towards this team's success....

Was Home cities the right choice for the PLL?

Image
PLL Home Cities  Written by Chase Rosenstrauch, of Swish   As of now, it's been five months since the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) introduced home cities for its eight teams. This move sparked debates about whether the chosen cities were best for the sport. With a tour-based schedule, some are excited, but others worry about the cities chosen. Lacrosse, known as "The fastest sport on two feet," has grown a lot since COVID-19. But some fans wonder if the PLL should have picked places like Florida and Texas, where lacrosse is growing fast. Should the PLL stick with touring or switch to home cities? It's a tough choice. Some say touring lets more people see the games, while others think having teams in one place could make the sport stronger. Whatever the PLL decides, the love for lacrosse will keep it moving forward. The PLL's next move will shape the future of the sport, and fans eagerly await what's to come. As discussions continue, it's clear that find...
