Jimbo Fisher is OUT at Texas A&M
After a disappointing tenure, Coach Fisher is OUT at A&M.

Despite being 45-25 at Texas A&M, Fisher never had a season with less than 4 losses with the exception of the 2020 Covid season when the Aggies had only one loss. The 45-25 record was worse than the record of Kevin Sumlin’s tenure at Texas A&M, Jimbo’s predecessor, who had a 51-26 record as head coach of the Aggies.
The next question for Texas A&M is who will they hire? We know they have the money and are willing to spend it since they’ve seemingly shredded 76 million dollars to fire their football coach. Texas A&M could pose as an attractive job opening since the school has tons of donors who are willing to spend money on NIL and any facilities necessary that the next coach would want to be upgraded. The Aggies are in the SEC, a conference that many consider to be one of the best, and they’re also in the state of Texas which has tons of high school talent to recruit from.
Texas A&M has made it clear that they want to be among College Football’s elite but they have to make the right hire this time. Only time will tell if they make the right hire this time.
