Why Washington will win the National Championship

When you have arguably the best 1-2 punch in College Football, you are going to be the team to beat. However, with the worst odds at 7 to 1, Washington is a surprising underdog to win it all, with Michigan, Texas, and Alabama having  3 to 1 odds.

However I believe Washington will prove why they are  the best team in the country,

Firstly, Jade McMillan is Back

The star receiver is finally back after sitting out most of the season with a  knee injury. In 2022, he put up over 1,000 yards with 9 Touchdowns. In the previous five games in which he suited up, the junior had accumulated five receptions for 26 yards. In the Pac-12 title game, the 6-foot 188-pound wideout had nine receptions for 131 yards. This relieves a lot of pressure from the best receiver on the field and future NFL first-round pick Rome Odunze, who has another 1,000-yard season.

Jade McMillan is an exceptional route runner and has the trust of Micheal Penix to get the ball down the field. The Huskies offense is much more dynamic with J-Mac, (If he wasn't elite he wouldn't have a nickname). Jade McMillan is finally coming back at the right time and will be a key part of their championship push.

If any Team can put up 35+ it's the Huskies

The Huskies have been a team of resilience this year, with tight wins against  Oklahoma State, and USC and  OREGON twice, who was a top 3 team this season and looked like the best offense this season. They have been DAWGS all year long. Understanding the competition in the playoffs, Texas, Bama, and Michigan all have the best 3 coaches in college football. They are very good at playing to their pace and controlling the game. However, the Huskies have dropped 35+ in 8 out of their 12 games and have a way of exposing defenses when it matters most. They have THE most impressive resume out of any team in the playoffs and with Heisman candidate Micheal Penix Jr, throwing for 4,218 and 33 touchdowns, it will be hard to stop this team from scoring with their weapons and a Quarterback who has had a career year.

I Can't wait to see what they can do in the playoff championship and in a great spot to win the Natty.
